HIPAAssure™ is the new name for the complete line of HIPAA compliance services from Compliance Helper. It is vital that a company can assure that they are HIPAA compliant on an on-going basis, not only for their own peace of mind, but also to assure their clients and business partners.
The Compliance Meter® is the emblem of HIPAA compliance that provides assurance that the organization has developed policies, procedures, and forms that not only meet the HIPAA standards but are tailored to their business model. There are also supplied with task lists of required HIPAA activities. Documentation of accomplishing these activities helps build a legal firewall around the company. Compliance Helper’s SaaS model also allows the organization to provide complete transparency by allowing a client, business partner, or an auditor to see all of their documentation either remotely or on-site.
Compliance Helper provides three different sets of policies, procedures, tasks and forms. The Micro set is for business associates with up to 5 employees whose business model matches the policies and procedures pre-edited by Rebecca Herold & Associates. They get a monthly task list which includes an attestation form. This verifies that they still meet the requirements for Micro as well as giving them a quiz on HIPAA to assure that they are in compliance. Their scores on the attestation form drive their Compliance Meter® so that they can assure themselves and their business partners that they are compliant on an on-going basis.
Mini is a new service, introduced in May of 2014 with a new set of templates of policies, procedures, forms and tasks designed for an organization with 1-20 employees who are required to edit policies, procedures, and forms to match their business model.
Macro has a more extensive set of policies, procedures, forms and tasks for organizations with more than 20 employees.
All three services are available with a Helper or without and clients may move freely from one model to the other. So a client may start with a Helper and later downgrade to Self or vice versa.
